I agree that I dont have anything particularly worryingly wrong with me that would make me unable to participate, I'm fit enough to take part & I take complete responsibility for myself. I will wear appropriate clothing and shoes (leave the stilettos at home) and will hydrate and feed myself regularly. If I feel crap, I will be sensible and drop out & spend the rest of the day chilling out & relaxing. If I see another runner in trouble I will endeavour to get him/her to retire or seek assistance & if I'm really worried I will have a word with a marshall - runners help runners out. I wont swap numbers with anyone or give my number to the guy I met down the pub cause he couldnt get in & he bought me a pint - or to anyone else come to that. I wont take sneaky short cuts cause thats just cheatiing and I'm not like that. I take part at my own risk and waive all rights to make a claim against Princess Races, I have provided full details of any medical conditions and agree to abide by any decision Princess Races makes with regard to my ability to take part. Entry fees are non-refundable. On race day I will obey the marshalls (to be referred to Sir or Her Royal Princess), and I wont pee or crap in the bushes or peoples gardens (theres enough toilets - I can wait 20 mins between them - or I will run faster). I will wear my race number where it can easily be seen, I wont run with my dog/cat/house rabbit or with my baby in a buggy. I am over 18 and entitled to vote. I wont have my coach or PT with me on the course unless they are pariticpating and I wont have my mum (or anyone else!) riding her shopping bike alongside me handing out bananas and "mummys special words of encouragement" . My supporters can cheer me on at the cheering station or alongside the course in a safe and responsible manner. Nobbling other participants is frowned upon and will get me disqualified. I can wear my lovely new bluetooth headphones (as its an off road course) but if I do I promise that it wont be so loud that I cant hear instructions or that I make other runners listen to my music choice - however good I think it is. I also accept that this may make me seem antisocial and other runners may not chat to me. If the weathers rubbish & the course floods and is unsafe i understand the event may have to be cancelled - i wont receive a refund. Timing is by gun time. Princess Races reserve the right, to modify, supplement or waive all or part of the event rules. I promise to have a jolly good time, to make new friends and to uphold the runners code of honour (all of the above!). I send lots of love and feel good vibes to all other runners - see you out there!! xx
I will abide by the age limit and by the laws and rules of UK Athletics. I wont take part unless I;m fit to do so and will retire if necessary. I take part at my own risk. Princess Races (or any of the volunteers) are not responsible for anything happening to me, or anything I may lose or damage during the race or at the event site or as a consequence of having been at the event. I agree my entry fee is non refundable and I agree to the T & C's above.
